Shakira Johnson

Shakira has nearly a decade of experience in client services and relations, customer experience, and sales across several industries including travel, staffing, and in the public sector. Passionate about helping others lead their best lives, she excels in cultivating connections of trust and finding common ground in professional relationships. Shakira has fallen in love with her role as Client Services Specialist; she hopes to continue honing her skills and learning from Eric and Michael to establish a meaningful career in wealth management. Shakira successfully passed the Securities Industry Essentials exam in January of 2023 and is planning to test for securities licensure soon. 

Shakira earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and holds a certificate in Cello Pedagogy. She is fluent in Japanese and holds a minor in Japanese Studies from CSU as well.

Outside her professional life, Shakira is a cellist with the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra and volunteers as Treasurer on the orchestra’s Board of Directors. Shakira is also a member of the Greater Arvada Chamber of Commerce’s Inclusion & Belonging KAPS Council and is passionate about creating an equitable and inclusive community. Born and raised in Denver, Shakira loves living in Arvada with her rat terrier mix Peggy Sue and her orange tabby Doodle.
